Open a transparent canvas 500 x500

To change the colour of your canvas,
File, General Preferences, Transparency and Background.

Print Screen on your keyboard.
Right click in PSP and Paste as New Image.
Crop your image to remove the window border

Effects, Edge Effects, Enhance More

Repeat.
Duplicate this image and
minimise the duplicate for later use.
Promote your background to a layer on your layer palette.
Add a New Raster layer,
Flood fill this white and move to bottom.
New Raster Layer above your check layer.
Add your name

Duplicate your name approx 5 or 6 times.
Move and spread all over your canvas.
Hide your bottom layer,
Layers, Merge Visible.
Un hide your bottom layer.
Effects, Plugins, Xenofex 2, Shatter

Effects, Edge Effects, Enhance More.
Copy your tube and Paste as a New Layer.
Resize by 85.
Adjust, Sharpness, Unsharp mask

Add Drop Shadow
Vertical -5
Horizontal 5
Opacity 50
Blur 15.00
Layers, Merge All Flatten.
Resize by 85 and add your unsharp mask again.
Image, Add Border.

Image, Add Border
This time change the colour to yellow and size to 10.
With your magic wand,
click the yellow border

Selections, Modify, Expand by 1
Flood fill, Choose pattern and find your check background
we minimized earlier.
Selections, Select None.
Promote to layer
resize by 85,

adjust sharpness again.
Add Drop Shadow
Vertical 5
Horizontal 5
Opacity and Blur same as before.
Add Drop Shadow
this time Vertical and Horizontal are -5.
Layers, Merge All Flatten.
New Raster Layer to add your name.

Use your check pattern for the outline.
Add © information and your watermark.
Merge All Flatten
If you wish to resize again,
go with 85 and dont forget to adjust sharpness again.
