Cut Out Doll Text

(download the preset shapes 'Objects' to the following:
C/Program Files/Jasc Software/ PaintShop Pro 7/8/9** / Preset Shapes
**depending which version you are using)

Open a blank canvas 600 x 600
Copy and paste your tube as a New Raster Layer.
Resize by 80.
Effects, Plugins, Xero, Pastallise

Effects, Plugins, Lithographer

Select your magic wand, click the now pink area,
and hit delete on your keyboard.
Select your eraser tool and remove and straggly
bits you can see.

Effects, Plugins, Xero, Line art

Now add your name.
Font:: Basic Sans Heavy
Size: 72
Outline: #a9d566
Fill: #f48ed6
Line Stroke: 3

Hide your background layer.
Layers, Merge Visible.
Un-hide your background
Flood fill your background White.
Make sure you are on the merged layer,

Selections, Select All
Selections, Float
Selections, Modify, Expand 9
Prt Scr on your keyboard.
Edit, Paste as New Image.

Use your crop tool to cut out your canvas.
You will now be working on this canvas and
close or minimise the previous one now.

Select your Rectangle shape tool.
Outline: Black
Fill: White
Stroke: 1

Draw a small tab.
convert to Raster layer on your layer palette.
Duplicate this 6 times, and move them around your image.
Do not worry about them overlapping for now.

Select your freehand tool (the lasso) and set
Freehand, Feather 1.
Roughtly draw a circle around the edges of the tabs
in line with the dashes on your image.
Kinda hard to explain, but basically your need to make
the tabs look as if they are lying underneath the
dashes.

Now add cut here using the following settings
Font: Arial
Size: 8
Outline: null
Fill: Black

Select your preset shapes and look for the
Scissors1 shape.
Draw a small shape
Convert to Raster Layer.

Duplicate your scissors and cut here 5 times.
Dot these around your image.
For some of the scissors you will need to do the following

Image, Mirror
Image, Rotate, 90 Right/Left

this way you will have them pointing in all directions
to go around your image.

Copy and Paste your tube again as a New Layer.
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow
Vertical: -3
Horizontal: 5
Opacity: 75
Blur: 5

Effects, Plugins, Eye Candy 3, Perspective Shadow

Layers, Merge All Flatten
Image, Resize 80
Adjust, Sharpness, Unsharp Mask

And now you have your own cut out doll.
